Preston Clark joins Hill Mullikin:PowerPlay’s Vancouver Office as Director of Research and Analysis.
Hill Mullikin:PowerPlay, a resort real estate sales and marketing firm today announces the addition of Preston Clark to their well-rounded team of sales and marketing experts. Clark will oversee all aspects of research and analysis of residential and resort real estate projects.
Preston was a founding member of Intrawest/Playground’s research and analytics department and also served as a senior advisor for Robert Charles Lesser, where he defined the directions for several master planned communities for Vail Resorts, East West Partners, The Related Group and JMB development organizations.
For the last eight years Preston has been involved in business strategy, highest and best use planning, market opportunity analysis, product planning and feasibility, and consumer research for destination resorts and mixed-use developments in Europe, North America, Latin America and Oceania. He has served as a key advisor in defining strategic directions for master-plan communities and marketing and sales strategies for 32 real estate developers representing 48 mixed-use resort and urban projects and $5 billion in worldwide sales.
Prior to his career in the real estate industry Preston spent six years in the technology sector focused on product development and brand management for IBM, Alcatel Corporation and other leading technology companies.
Preston comments, “Interpreting future real estate patterns and creating an innovative, problem-solving real estate offering is what it’s all about. The only way you can do it with confidence these days is to anticipate all the moves before they happen, triple-check your assumptions and develop a scalable go-to-market strategy. I’ve worked with these guys for years on all different sized projects, some with lots of resources and some with none. No project is ever the same but elevating the bar on innovation and demanding excellence is what this team expects every time. Hill Mullikin:PowerPlay has created an environment that allows each one of us to push the boundaries of our specialization while collectively forging one specific direction. The fun is in the process, the beauty is in the results.”
