Jami Mullikin Speaks On Inbound Marketing At America Association Of Retirement Communities Conference
CHATTANOOGA, TN, 10.04.09 – Hill Mullikin Principal Jami Mullikin was invited to speak at the annual conference for the American Association of Retirement Communities (AARC). The AARC focuses on developing communities for future retirees and active adults, and Mullikin delivered a presentation about the importance of generating leads through inbound marketing.
Mullikin’s presentation was aimed at helping attendees leverage inbound marketing opportunities through search engine optimization and social media Web sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others.
This year’s AARC Conference was hosted in Chattanooga, Tennessee on November 4 – 6. Developers, land planners and representatives from government agencies were on-hand to discuss the most effective ways to market retirement communities in 2010.
Concerning the role of inbound marketing in real estate development today, Mullikin says, “A fundamental shift in perspective has taken place. Inbound marketing is about starting a dialogue, not a monologue, with your customers. We came to AARC to help individuals learn about the low-cost, high-impact tools that are out there. It’s been a great conference.”
